Job summary

Serco Group UK&E is seeking a Group Head of Risk and Resilience to lead the enterprise-wide risk management framework and embed it across UK&E and the broader organisation. The role reports to senior executives and the Board, driving a coherent view of risk exposure and resilience.

You will develop risk appetite, oversee principal and emerging risks, and translate complex risk data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience in enterprise risk management within a complex organisation.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, risk appetite, principal risks and emerging risk management.
• Experience supporting Executive, Board and Audit Committee oversight of organisational risk.
• Strong track record translating complex risk information into executive insight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continually evolve Serco’s Group risk management framework.
• Own development and application of risk appetite across the organisation.
• Lead the Group principal and emerging risk process with effective challenge.
• Oversee horizon scanning, scenario analysis and use of internal/external intelligence.
• Provide senior leaders and the Board with clear insights into risk exposure and trends.
• Lead implementation of the risk framework across UK&E and with Divisional leadership.
• Ensure risk, controls and assurance form a coherent view of risk and resilience.
• Lead resilience planning and testing across UK&E, including business continuity.
