Job summary

Blue Legal in Jersey is seeking an experienced Billing & Revenue Controller to join its finance team on-site in Jersey. You will own revenue processes from WIP management and billing through to credit control, collections and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.

The role involves coordinating with senior stakeholders, improving billing and collection processes and providing clear financial data to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing, revenue control, credit control or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of the complete revenue lifecycle.
• Knowledge of WIP management, billing, collections and financial reporting.
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage the billing and revenue cycle from WIP through invoicing, collections and reporting.
• Review and monitor WIP, identify issues and coordinate with stakeholders for timely billing.
• Prepare and process accurate client invoices.
• Manage outstanding debt and support effective credit control and collection activity.
• Monitor aged debt and follow up on balances.
• Produce regular revenue, WIP and collections reports.
• Build senior stakeholder relationships with clear billing information.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing, revenue and collection processes.
• Ensure financial information is accurate and maintained per procedures.
• Support the wider finance function as required.
