Job summary

Education Authority in Northern Ireland seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Specialist Resourcing and Budgetary Support for Special Schools. You will oversee allocation of human and financial resources, develop and monitor resourcing models, and drive improvement across 40 special schools, ensuring value for money and statutory compliance.

The role involves leading change, reporting via dashboards and KPIs, and collaborating with HR and Financial Business Partners to deliver

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (UK Qualification and Credit Framework Level 6) or equivalent; three or five years of management experience in delivering services to support schools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current and anticipated challenges related to the role and EA business and finance processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, timely and relevant advice and support to schools and EA Services on allocation of human and financial resources.
  • Advise special schools on responsibilities regarding allocations and ensure efficient staff management.
  • Lead operational management of SEN resource allocation performance monitoring and reporting systems.
