Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking a Resource Allocation Manager for a leading transatlantic law firm’s Corporate practice in London. You will lead day-to-day allocation, ensuring client demand is met, utilisation remains strong and lawyers have access to work and progression opportunities.

Working with Partners, Talent, Finance and BD, you will forecast capacity, resolve resourcing challenges and use data to inform commercial staffing decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is essential.
• Experience in resource management, workforce planning or operational management is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Highly organised, resilient and able to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing lawyer allocation across the Corporate practice.
• Working with Partners and senior stakeholders to identify current and future resourcing requirements.
• Monitoring utilisation, pipeline and forecast data and providing recommendations.
• Identifying capacity gaps and resolving resourcing challenges.
• Developing and improving resource management processes and systems.
• Providing reporting and insight to support business performance.
