Job summary

Radley Green partners with an international law firm to hire a Resource Allocation Manager for its London Corporate team on a permanent basis. This high-profile role works directly with partners and is ideal for a Resource Manager from a large professional services or law firm.

You will own allocation and deployment of fee earners, balancing profitability, capacity and development, guided by data and reporting to inform staffing decisions.

Qualifications

• Resourcing experience from a law firm or large professional services firm.
• Proven people management and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Confident communicator with commercial mindset and high organization.
• Flexible and proactive with cross-team collaboration.
• Strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main resourcing contact for partners and track pipeline, workload and availability.
• Monitor utilisation and capacity, identify trends and flag pinch points.
• Present capacity updates at partner meetings and propose practical solutions.
• Allocate and deploy fee earners based on forecasted capacity and development goals.
• Build relationships across teams and adapt resourcing processes to client needs.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding and client secondments for smooth transitions.
• Manage annual leave planning to protect utilisation and workflow.
• Produce reporting for mid-year/end-year appraisals and forecast summaries.
