Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is seeking a Research Grants Manager in the Research & Innovation Services division. You will oversee pre- and post-award support for external research grant funding and advise on funding sources, eligibility, and evaluation criteria, playing a strategic role in maximising the University's research income.

Based in RIS, the role includes line management of a number of Research Funding and Contract Officers and contributing to LJMU Strategy 2030.

Qualifications

• Experience securing research grant income.
• Ability to advise on funding sources and evaluation criteria.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre- and post-award support for external research grant funding applications.
• Advise the academic community and colleagues on sources of funding, eligibility and evaluation criteria.
• Provide post-award guidance and support.
• Line management responsibility of Research Funding and Contract Officers within the team.
