Job summary

Cornerstone Group in Nottingham is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager to join the Edmond Shipway team. You will manage projects from planning through handover, ensuring delivery on time and within profitability targets, while supporting a diverse range of healthcare and other clients.

The role requires strong cost management, contract administration, and the ability to lead internal and external teams, with a focus on value, risk control and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager with 5+ years post-qualification.
• Degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS).
• Strong cost management and contract administration knowledge.
• Experience with standard forms of contract, including JCT contracts.
• Experience in hotel and leisure sector or related private/public sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning through handover.
• Develop project execution plans and delivery strategies.
• Manage programmes and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Chair project meetings and provide progress updates.
• Monitor quality and governance requirements and ensure client satisfaction.
