Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team in Penrith. The role focuses on delivering accurate commercial results, maintaining records, and producing timely applications for payment. You will work within the Aureos Highways business unit to support project delivery and profit optimisation.

The position offers exposure to cost management, forecasting, and sub-contract administration as part of a growing team dedicated to safe, efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
• Working towards Professional Qualification (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Input into the application and credit control processes.
• Understanding of income forecast and pricing of scope changes.
• Understanding of the change control system.
• Understanding of project risk.
• Understanding the production of forecasting data.
• Understanding the costing process.
• Managing the full sub-contract cycle and input into sub-contract documentation.
• Assisting with weekly cost to complete/budget reviews with the contract delivery teams.
• Review weekly site records and attend project progress meetings.
• Assist with monthly financial performance reports.

Education

Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
