Job summary

Andrecruit Group Ltd in Hampshire is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead the Quality and Compliance function. You will report to the Operations Director and oversee the Operational Quality Team to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include implementing ISO 9001 aligned QMS, audits, supplier quality, and contract requirements; driving continuous improvement with Lean Six Sigma; and communicating metrics

Qualifications

• HND or Level 5 in Quality Management or equivalent work-based experience.
• Proven experience as a Quality Manager in electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• Familiarity with defence sector is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to motivate and drive teams.
• Experience with accreditation standards, process improvement, and Lean Six Sigma.
• Proficient in analytical tools, esp. Excel; detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence.
• Experience with ERP systems and quality management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operational Quality Team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct audits, implement corrective actions, and maintain quality certifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to meet quality requirements.
• Oversee inspection and testing processes to ensure product safety and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and report quality performance to senior management.
• Provide training to embed a culture of quality across the organisation.
