Lockheed Martin in Ampthill is seeking a Quality Bids & Proposals Coordinator to lead quality planning across bids, ensuring customer requirements are understood and incorporated into compliant, competitive proposals. You will work with BD, Programme Management, Production Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality teams to identify quality obligations, risks and resources before contract award.

The role requires experience in a regulated defence environment, AS9100 knowledge, and ability

Qualifications

• Background in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing context.
• Experience supporting bids or proposals in a defence or regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and customer requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Review customer requirements and drawings to determine the quality scope of work.
• Develop and maintain BOEs and ensure quality activities are costed and resourced.
• Liaise with Quality SMEs to validate labour hours, inspection requirements and delivery approaches.
• Identify quality risks, exclusions and assumptions in bid documents.
• Ensure proposed quality activities comply with customer, regulatory and company requirements.
• Represent Quality during bid reviews and sign-off activities.
