Vertage Inc. in London is seeking a Bid Manager (Pursuit, Bid and Solutions Manager) to lead major opportunities (£25m-£100m) across the UK and beyond in a hybrid role with London preference and £65,000–£75,000 salary.

You will direct pursuit teams, shape win themes, and govern end‑to‑end bids, including solution design and senior stakeholder engagement, using AI to sharpen speed and clarity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and winning complex bids/pursuits, including governance, workplan management and multi-stakeholder orchestration.
• Strategic pursuit leadership and strong solutioning capability.
• Confidence facilitating senior workshops and a track record of influencing senior leaders.
• Strong commercial acumen to understand value levers, risk and delivery feasibility and to mentor finance on the commercial model.
• Exposure to workforce solutions and/or technology-enabled solutions desirable.
• AI-fluent, able to show how it sharpens judgment and speed.

Responsabilités

• Direct pursuit teams and challenge win themes, not just take a brief, but set one.
• Lead solution design and differentiated propositions on high-value opportunities (£25m-£100m, UK and multi-country).
• Own sales strategy input for live pursuits with authority to push back when not winnable.
• Lead internal discovery and solution workshops, engaging senior stakeholders.
• Ensure proposed solutions are operationally deliverable and commercially viable.
• Oversee end-to-end pursuit governance: qualification, planning, reviews and submission readiness.
• Oversee AI-enabled bid production to raise speed, clarity and creativity.
• Set the standard for excellence and build the talent to sustain it.
