Job summary

Catering in Bolton is seeking an experienced Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to own the purchasing function, lead a small team and drive improvements in supplier performance, costs and resilience. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead purchasing and supply chain activities across Planning, Inventory, Engineering, Operations and Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation experience.
• Proven experience delivering cost savings.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing advantageous.
