Job summary

Commercial is recruiting a Purchasing & Sourcing Manager to lead the Purchasing Administration and Procurement Specialists teams, applying strong leadership, commercial judgment and business acumen to deliver a cost‑effective, responsive service.

You will set standards, drive supplier negotiations, coach teams and ensure ERP data accuracy while directing sourcing across PPE & Workwear, Facilities and related categories to meet customer needs and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing procurement teams.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with supplier pricing and terms.
• Excellent commercial judgment to translate requirements into value.
• Experience with ERP systems and ensuring data accuracy.
• CIPS Level 4 qualification or demonstrated equivalent capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and inspire the Purchasing Administration and Procurement Specialists teams.
• Set service standards, KPIs and SLAs, and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead complex supplier negotiations and challenge pricing, lead times and terms.
• Coach Procurement Specialists on high‑value opportunities.
• Maintain ERP discipline, data accuracy and efficient purchasing processes.
• Direct sourcing across PPE & Workwear, Facilities, Retail Equipment and related categories.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that support demand and growth.
• Source, assess and manage suppliers for quality, availability and cost.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supplier capability to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support internal pricing teams with responsive service.
• Review and improve procurement processes and policies.
• Hold regular supplier account reviews and manage performance.
• Remain composed in a high‑pressure environment and balance priorities.
