Cognizant in London is seeking a Technical Bid Writer/Bid Manager to craft compelling, technically robust proposals for the UK Public Sector. You will translate complex technical and commercial information into persuasive responses and work with cross-functional teams.

This hybrid role involves collaborating with Bid Managers, Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders and commercial teams to address customer priorities and procurement requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience writing, editing or managing proposal content for UK Public Sector bids.
• Exceptional written English; ability to translate complex information into concise responses.
• Understanding of digital transformation concepts such as cloud, data/AI, cyber security.
• Experience gathering content from multidisciplinary stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and refine high-quality proposal content for UK Public Sector tenders.
• Translate technical, delivery and commercial information into clear, persuasive responses.
• Collaborate with Bid Managers, Solution Architects and commercial teams to reflect strategy.
• Ensure quality through reviews, proofreading and compliance checks.
• Use AI Bid Tools and develop reusable proposal content and case studies.
• Maintain lessons learned to improve bid-writing standards and processes.
