White Label Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a well-established engineering services business in the UK to recruit a Proposals Engineer. You will lead bids and tenders, coordinating input from engineering, operations and commercial teams to secure a range of engineering projects across energy, process, utilities and manufacturing sectors.

The role suits someone with bid experience or a background in estimating or cost engineering, taking ownership of the tender process within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Experience preparing engineering bids, tenders or proposals.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in industrial engineering, process industries, EPC, engineering services, manufacturing, utilities, energy or similar sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage bids, tenders and proposals from enquiry to submission.
• Review customer enquiries, specifications and tender documentation.
• Coordinate input from engineering, operations and project teams.
• Prepare high-quality technical and commercial submissions.
• Review labour hours and project costs.
• Support development of competitive tender strategies.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Liaise with customers for clarifications.
• Ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Assist with handovers after contract awards.
