Job Overview

Coordinate and manage contracts, proposals, and other designated processes for assigned customers to ensure accurate and timely information.

Essential Functions

1. Manage the day-to-day contract, proposal, and other designated processes for large, complex contracts.
2. Act as regional expert on contracts, proposals, and other processes, serving as the key interface for assigned customers to ensure consistency in approach, metrics, and format.
3. Manage project requirements, identify discrepancies, and interact with customers to resolve issues.
4. Develop and implement processes aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and creating efficiencies while maintaining consistency across teams.
5. Provide direction and strategy on projects and initiatives with minimal oversight.
6. Support the development and negotiation of Master Service Agreements (MSA).
7. Develop a comprehensive understanding of, and ensure compliance with, all processes and policies related to contracts and proposals.
8. Act as the primary internal customer interface, developing key relationships.
9. Participate in bid defenses, customer meetings, and task forces as required.
10. Provide advice, support, and mentorship to colleagues.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in Contracts or Proposals, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of the CRO industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and understanding of costing models.
• Strong knowledge of contract, proposal, and budget processes, with the ability to interpret budgets and protocols.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and customers.
