The Borgen Project is an international organization working at the political level to improve living conditions for those affected by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, it has supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Writer/Journalist Programme

This role involves content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog. It is a part-time, 12-hour-per-week, 12-week unpaid remote program. You can work ahead and complete the program sooner if needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Article writing
  • Researching topics
  • Supporting advocacy efforts
  • Assisting with fundraising by creating personal campaigns and meeting targets

Experience: No prior experience required. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.

Details: This is an unpaid program; college credit may be available.

Start date: New programs start monthly; you choose your start month.
