Qualifications

• University degree or professional qualification, or at least 2 years in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written communication for business cases and reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills to engage stakeholders.
• Ability to set objectives and manage competing priorities.
• Experience working across teams, organisations and staff groups.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of the Data Institute's strategic plan, translating priorities into operational work programmes.
• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of the Institute's project portfolio, monitoring risks, issues, dependencies and benefits realisation.
• Prepare business cases, investment proposals, bids and forecasts to support leadership decisions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across health, academia, government, industry.
• Support governance boards, steering groups and advisory committees, ensuring reporting and compliance.
• Monitor expenditure, resource utilisation and organisational performance.
• Lead day-to-day business operations and develop efficient processes for continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for growth, collaboration, funding and partnerships, with measures of impact.
