Job summary

King’s College London is seeking a project professional to oversee initiatives from initiation to delivery, ensuring robust plans, documentation and governance across multiple stakeholders. The role requires managing risks, issues and dependencies, while maintaining high-quality reporting and progress updates.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to delivery and closure.
• Experience of developing and maintaining project plans, documentation and reporting, including risk registers, action logs and progress reports.
• Experience of managing project risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities, including escalating risks and issues appropriately.
• Experience of working effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, building relationships and negotiating priorities and outcomes to support successful delivery.
• Experience of establishing and supporting effective project governance, including working groups, committees and project meetings.
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and appropriately to different audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently, taking ownership of project delivery while contributing flexibly to a wider team and portfolio of projects.
