DEA Specialised Airborne Operations is seeking a motivated Project Manager to drive delivery of complex, high-value aerospace projects. The role bridges engineering teams and project delivery, reporting to the Head of Strategic Programmes.

A hands-on, adaptable professional who can turn customer needs into actionable tasks will excel. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in project management within a technical setting and holds or seeks PMI/APM/Prince2 certification, with a strong focus on outcomes

Formación

• 2+ years of progressive experience in project management.
• 2+ years in a technical environment (desirable).
• Experience with technical teams in the development of value propositions, MVPs and POCs.
• Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Financial management skills including budgeting and forecasting analysis.
• Data analysis and reporting (KPIs, dashboards, performance metrics).
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Professional project management certification (e.g. APM or Prince2) or willing to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Head of Strategic Programmes, showing a strong appetite to quickly learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies as needed.
• Support in execution for the detailed mobilisation phases of strategic projects, working directly with engineering and delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover to Service Delivery.
• Identify technical and operational risks, taking ownership to mitigate them and adapting project plans seamlessly when priorities shift.

• Actively track project progress and blockers, possessing the confidence to proactively approach the Head of Strategic Programmes to seek guidance, escalated issues, and keep projects moving.
