Job summary

NBCUniversal UK is seeking a Finance professional to provide daily financial support to the Universal United Kingdom Resort project, including monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasting. You will work with project managers, manage month-end close, and ensure accurate accruals and cost postings in SAP.

You will also review contracts and invoices, coordinate with vendors, maintain PMWeb alignment with the general ledger, and seek opportunities to automate reporting processes while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or Mathematics is preferred.
• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office (advanced).
• Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines.
• Organisational skills.
• Forecasting and basic budgeting.
• Analytical thinking.
• Planning and scheduling.
• Accounting research.
• Ability to collaborate with project team.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly project cost reporting and distribute to management.
• Month-end close requirements, including prepare monthly project status and accrual reports, post charge-outs and earned value journal entries in SAP.
• Forecast cash flow on a routine basis (monthly, quarterly, annually, project life) and perform variance analysis.
• Review, audit, and approve contract drafts, purchase requisitions, and invoices/payment applications related to project.
• Research vendor payment issues and make recommendations for resolution.
• Maintain PMWeb to be consistent with SAP (general ledger).
• Assist in the vendor bid and award process including cost comparison and bid review meetings.
• Improve reporting processes using automation whenever possible.
• Uphold Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
