Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Finance Analyst to support cost reporting and project financials for Universal Creative construction initiatives in the United Kingdom. You will work with the project team to populate models, track budgets, and ensure accurate ledger entries.

The role focuses on monthly reporting, earned value management, contract review, and collaboration with the AP department. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or Mathematics.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills are required.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly project cost reporting and validate cost expectations with the project team.
• Create earned value accrual templates and prepare standard journal entries.
• Ensure vendor billing forecasts are current and quality checked for alignment with remaining work.
• Review, audit, and approve contract drafts, change directives and invoices related to projects.
• Validate invoices received from active vendors and resolve billing issues with the AP team.
• Assist Finance with ad‑hoc research and analysis as directed.
• Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities as required.

Job Description

For Universal United Kingdom Resort (UUKR), this position will assistin the financial analysis in support of Universal Creative construction projects and the associated project team (examples include Project Director, Technical Director, Construction Manager, etc.).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support monthly project cost reporting and work with project team tovalidateproject cost expectations. Able to populate models with theappropriate informationbased on SOP or direction.
• Create earned value accrual templates and prepare standard journal entries. Ensure general ledger codes areappropriate for project settlements.
• Ensure thatmonthly vendor billing forecastsare current for all contracts and are quality checked to alignremaining work and inan appropriate Excelformat.
• Review, audit, and approve contract drafts, contract change directives, and invoices/payment applications related to project basedoff ofSOP or direction.
• Validate invoices have been received for all active vendors. Work with AP department to resolve billing issues.
• Support the Finance team as needed with requested research and analysis based on direction from supervisor.
• Understand and activelyparticipatein Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDXpolicy, procedures,trainingand team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’sdegree is preferred inFinance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
