Job summary

Nomad Foods Ltd. is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to support the Project Finance Controller in delivering financial governance for major Nomad projects and capex.

The role focuses on project forecasting, policy-compliant accounting, and strengthening controls across 20–30 projects annually. Responsibilities include maintaining project finance processes, preparing business cases, and ensuring timely month-end close with proper commentary and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Essential: Part/fully qualified accounting professional with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Essential: 3+ years in accounting, FP&A, or business partnering in a fast-paced environment.
• Desirable: SAP ECC experience and ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Finance Controller with governance materials and project spend controls.
• Maintain central repository of project finance processes and models; identify automation opportunities.
• Ensure project costs are accounted per Nomad policy and prepare business cases for governance.
• Manage budgeting/forecasting for project costs and ensure alignment with planning cycles.
• Prepare month-end close, variances, and Sox-compliant controls; support audits.
