Turner & Townsend in the UK Infrastructure team is seeking a strategic Project Director to lead major commissions and expand Midlands relationships, while supporting national initiatives. The role requires mobility across the UK and a commercially-minded approach.

Candidates will have a track record of delivering at strategic levels with clients, managing diverse teams, and using NEC3/4 contracts. The role offers engagement across board-level initiatives and growth-focused resourcing.

Qualifications

• Proven leader of diverse teams across multi sectors such as Rail, aviation, utilities, power, highways, local authorities.
• Background in Project Management or engineering with capital programme delivery would be applicable
• Experience leading Major Programmes and Projects
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts
• Demonstrable experience in successful business generation activities including bidding, networking and client engagement
• Ability to develop and grow client relationships across all levels of an organisation
• Procurement, asset management, or advisory experience would be desirable
• Experience of inclusion on client and internal boards, setting strategy and delivering growth targets
