Job summary

A leading energy technology company in the UK seeks a Lead Project Controls Manager to oversee project cost, schedule, and risk management while fostering collaboration with stakeholders. The role requires a strong background in Project Controls, encompassing planning, cost management, and risk analysis, along with proficiency in tools like MS Project and Oracle applications. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Project Controls across projects or programmes.
  • Solid understanding of Project Controls disciplines.
  • Experience in applying and assuring project controls governance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Project Controls Plan.
  • Oversee the Project Start-up on Execution projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project cost, schedule, and risk matters.
  • Lead integration of schedule, cost, scope change, and risk management processes.
  • Support the Project Planning team in generating the project schedule.
  • Oversee setup and operation of project controls systems.
  • Monitor overall project progress and identify deviations from plan.
  • Conduct budget vs. actual cost analysis with finance managers.
  • Lead major cost and schedule risk analysis workshops.
  • Report project status and KPIs to senior management.
  • Capture and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
