Technify Talent Limited is seeking a Project Accountant in Reading, Berkshire to own project financial performance across the full lifecycle. You will work closely with Project Managers, Business Development and Commercial teams to manage costs, drive profitability and support financial decision-making.

You will also help improve financial processes and play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system, delivering accurate reporting and robust controls across budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CIMA, ACCA or ACA credentials or significant relevant experience.
• Strong background in project accounting, commercial finance or finance business partnering.
• Experience in engineering, technology or other project-driven environments.
• Good understanding of project financial management, forecasting and IFRS 15 revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems such as IFS, SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytics and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting bids, pricing or commercial contracts desirable.
• Must be eligible for UK security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Manage project finances across the full lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and margin analysis.
• Support commercial bids, pricing models and financial risk assessments.
• Produce accurate project financial reports, identifying cost overruns, risks and opportunities.
• Oversee revenue recognition (IFRS 15), project billing and payment milestones.
• Partner with Project Managers and commercial teams, providing financial guidance and improving commercial awareness.
• Support ERP implementation and improvements to financial processes, reporting and automation.
