Job summary

African Rainbow Family is seeking a Programme Manager to oversee day-to-day programme operations, manage staff, budgets, and policies, and drive funding opportunities with a focus on LGBTIQ+ refugees and asylum seekers. You will work with senior leadership to align programmes with strategic goals and ensure high-quality service delivery across centres.

The role involves engaging with policymakers, funders, and community partners, while delivering advocacy campaigns and managing risk.

Qualifications

Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting.
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar donor management tools.
Strong communication, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
Experience in policy development and implementation.
Organisational knowledge of charity law and fundraising regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day programme operations ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Lead income generation through grants, fundraising and monitoring activities, with oversight from SMT.
Develop and implement policies; report to the board of Trustees and align with strategic goals.
Manage staff, volunteers and stakeholders; coordinate with partner organisations and clients.
