Rainbow Trust is seeking a Policy and Public Affairs Lead to develop and implement an influencing strategy. You will work to ensure policy activity is needs-led and evidence-based, targeting change where it matters most.

In this role you will engage policymakers and elected representatives across the UK, raising awareness and support for Rainbow Trust's mission and for families facing life-threatening illness.

Qualifications

• Need-led, evidence-based policy activity planning.
• Ability to translate policy into operational language for diverse audiences.
• Experience using campaigning tools including e-campaigning.
• Experience lobbying and influencing key stakeholders in a political or charity context.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the implementation of Rainbow Trust's influencing strategy.
• Engage policymakers and elected representatives at national and regional levels.
• Increase understanding, awareness and support for Rainbow Trust's work.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify key stakeholders and build relationships.
