Job summary

Network Rail is seeking a senior programme manager to lead the London Liverpool Street Redevelopment and related major infrastructure initiatives. You will establish governance, develop business cases, manage stakeholders, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver transformational capacity, passenger experience and commercial value at a major UK railway station.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
• Excellent interpersonal, management and communication skills.
• Substantial proven experience in programme management.
• Excellent knowledge of programme and project controls processes and systems.
• Proven experience in managing and developing teams to achieve high performance.
• Proven ability to work with senior industry stakeholders to understand their requirements.
• Membership of a relevant professional body.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a portfolio of programmes and/or projects.
• Implement an assurance framework and KPIs for programme management activities.
• Develop and implement programme management standards, processes and procedures.
• Lead specific programme/project on time, within budget, and to agreed success criteria.
• Produce investment plans for the programme in line with Investment Regulations.
• Develop and manage suppliers and staff in line with safety, quality and environment standards.
