Job summary

Teledyne CML Composites in Bromborough, UK, is seeking a Production Planner to develop and execute the Master Production Schedule across manufacturing operations. You will establish accurate lead times, generate performance reports, and highlight variances for corrective actions.

You will collaborate with Operations, Procurement and Inventory Control to resolve supply/demand imbalances and develop forward-looking capacity plans to support the Master Schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in Planning and Supply Chain as a planner or similar.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Level qualification or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed workflow plans derived from the Master Production Schedule for each Customer Product Stream, organized by work centre and operation.
• Establish accurate manufacturing and assembly lead times for all required components.
• Produce detailed reports and analysis on operational performance against the Production Schedule, including plan-versus-actual comparisons of KPIs across departments and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Inventory Control teams to address supply/demand imbalances caused by material shortages, resource constraints, or capacity issues.
• Develop forward-looking finite capacity plans based on historical performance and known constraints, supporting gap analysis against the Master Schedule.
• Recommend tactical solutions and process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy and operational efficiency.
