Job summary

apetito Limited, the UK’s leading food supplier to health and social care sectors, is seeking a Production and Materials Planner to deliver planning support across Production, Materials, and Inventory functions at our Trowbridge site.

You'll create achievable production plans, coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Commercial teams, manage material availability, optimise stock levels, and support ERP implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Production Planning, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Experience working with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and communicate short, medium, and long-term production plans that balance demand, capacity, and inventory targets.
• Ensure production schedules are achievable and aligned with constraints.
• Monitor stock availability and mitigate risks to customer supply.
• Review demand changes and adjust production plans to maintain service levels.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement,Technical, and Commercial teams to prioritise planning.
