Job summary

Bensons for Beds is seeking a commercially minded Procurement professional to join our team in the UK. You will own sourcing, supplier management and negotiation across raw materials, ensuring materials are available from the right suppliers at the right price and time.

You will build strong supplier relationships, negotiate costs and continuously seek opportunities to improve cost, cash and supplier performance. The role involves budget support and SLA management with suppliers to drive value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Procurement and purchasing negotiations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including presentation skills.
• Excellent organisation, analytical and prioritisation skills.
• Knowledge of category management and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and supplier selection across material categories and onboarding new suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance (OTIF and quality).
• Negotiate raw material prices and work with Finance on price changes and performance.
• Monitor market trends to develop clear category strategies.
• Collaborate with NPD to onboard new materials and support SKU rationalisation and cost savings.
• Support Procurement Manager with annual budget preparation and forecasting.
• Manage SLAs with key and general suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance and reduce costs.
