Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Procurement Specialist to drive end-to-end procurement across major clean energy and infrastructure programmes. You will work with stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams to deliver cost-effective, robust supply chain solutions and ensure on-time delivery.

The role involves negotiating with suppliers, developing early procurement strategies, and managing risks within engineering, nuclear, and energy sectors.

Qualificações

• Demonstrable experience in end-to-end procurement, sourcing, tendering, contract award, and supplier management activities.
• Experience managing supplier performance, delivery schedules, and commercial relationships within a complex project environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, commercial principles, and contract terms and conditions.
• Experience within engineering, nuclear, construction, manufacturing, aerospace, energy, utilities, oil and gas, or similar technical industry.
• Proven ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders and suppliers to achieve successful commercial outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Managing sourcing and tendering activities to deliver cost-effective and technically robust supply chain solutions.
• Leading supplier negotiations to maximise commercial value and secure successful project outcomes.
• Developing procurement strategies through early engagement with stakeholders and project teams.
• Monitoring supplier performance, managing supply chain risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Project Management, and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery of materials and services.
