Job summary

INEOS Grangemouth is seeking a Procurement Specialist – Contracts & Services to secure supply for O&P UK projects and site maintenance. You will develop strategies, negotiate terms, and manage supplier performance to ensure value and compliance.

Key requirements include substantial procurement experience in a large manufacturing environment, MCIPS or studies, and strong Excel/Word skills to support cost analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Procurement/commercial/contractual experience in a large, complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience in at least 2 of listed commodities: mechanical services, scaffolding, painting, industrial cleaning, electrical & instrumentation, engineering services, tankage or construction services.
• Strong negotiation skills with understanding of cost drivers to demonstrate transparency and value.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies with stakeholders and award engineering services contracts for best value.
• Ensure security of supply for services meets technical specs, safety, and schedule.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure best commercial terms.
• Review cost submissions and challenge variances to align with contract intent; negotiate claims when needed.
• Identify new suppliers offering commercial/technical advantages.
