Job summary
INEOS FPS in Grangemouth seeks an Instrument and Protective Systems Engineer to provide specialist engineering, safety and technical support for field instrumentation and protective systems. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you will manage SIS lifecycle, support modifications, and develop safety documentation in BS EN 61511, while mentoring Technicians and Operators.

Qualifications
- Requires electrical engineering degree and SIS certification.
- Minimum 5 years in a technical Oil & Gas environment.
- Experience with IEC 61508/61511 lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of field instrumentation.
- Proven ability to coach engineers.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to INEOS 20 Principles and 7 Life Saving Rules.
- Maintain asset and protective systems integrity.
- Support SIS lifecycle management per IEC 61508/61511.
- Lead small projects and modifications of I&PS.
- Provide training to Technicians and Operators.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation BS EN 61511.
- Conduct SIF reliability studies using TRAC / exSILentia.
