Job summary

BDO UK is seeking a strategic Procurement Business Partner Manager to lead category management across multiple streams and drive value for the firm. You will shape sourcing strategy, manage category plans and vendor relationships, and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across IT, HR, Finance, and operations.

In this role you’ll guide negotiations, ensure contract and SLA compliance, and help deliver the Procurement 2028 vision with cost, time and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Category management across a range of categories – including IT & Technology procurement (SaaS)
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and contractual elements such as SLAs
• Proven ability to manage vendor life cycle and negotiate effectively
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for HR, marketing, finance, and professional services
• Develop and manage category plans and supplier onboarding/management
• Drive cost savings, efficiency, and ESG alignment across streams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure value delivery and risk mitigation
• Mentor junior members of the commercial delivery/sourcing team
