Job summary

Broady Flow Control Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Manager to own the purchasing function and shape its future direction.

The role focuses on developing and executing a new purchasing strategy, examining the supplier base, and driving cost, quality and delivery improvements across a UK and international supplier network. You will work within an engineering/manufacturing environment, building strong supplier relationships and aligning purchasing with broader group strategies to enhance resilience

Qualifications

Experience developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
Proven ability to review and optimise supplier base.
Strong negotiating skills with suppliers.
Understanding of engineered/manufactured components and supply chains.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and execute a new purchasing strategy aligned with business objectives.
Review supplier spend and relationships to identify improvements.
Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, OTD and continuity of supply.
Source and negotiate engineered components and materials (castings, forgings, machined parts).
Collaborate with group purchasing to leverage buying power.
