Job summary

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking a Procurement Manager for our client based in the Teesside area. The role manages the full procurement lifecycle, with responsibilities spanning supplier management, governance and strategic sourcing to ensure best value and continuity of supply.

You will work closely with Finance, Operations and Engineering to align procurement activities with budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and implement savings initiatives using TCO principles while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business or related field.
• Progressive procurement experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ERP systems and tendering/negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement lifecycle for assigned categories.
• Develop category strategies to support production continuity and cost optimization.
• Manage tendering, supplier qualification and contract award processes.
• Collaborate with Finance to align procurement with budgeting and working capital.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
