Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex procurement exercises from strategy development to contract award and implementation.
• Deliver procurements for housing asset investment programmes.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance contracts.
• Oversee refurbishment and capital improvement works.
• Manage repairs and maintenance services contracts.
• Handle property and building-related contracts.
• Develop procurement strategies that support service objectives and value-for-money.
• Provide procurement and commercial advice to Housing and Asset Management teams.
• Prepare procurement documentation, tender packs, evaluation criteria, and award recommendations.
• Manage competitive tendering processes through portals and frameworks.
• Ensure procurement activity complies with PA23, policies and governance.
• Support contract mobilisation and handover to contract management teams.
• Build relationships with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and commercial efficiencies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and provide progress updates to senior management.
