Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Procurement Manager to own end-to-end procurement for residential low-carbon technology categories, including heat pumps, EV chargers, or solar & battery storage. You will drive supplier negotiations, ensure supply continuity, and deliver cost reductions that support growth and decarbonisation ambitions.

In this role you will collaborate across Planning, Technical, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Product, travel to supplier sites, and influence category

Qualifications

• Own end-to-end procurement for residential low-carbon technology category.
• Lead category strategy to improve hardware margin via sourcing, renegotiation, and cost control.
• Ensure supply continuity through dual sourcing and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiation and renewal with key suppliers.
• Partner with Planning through Materials Reviews and S&OP forums.
• Collaborate with Technical, Operations, Finance, and Product on new product introductions.
• Drive multi-million pound cost reductions against targets.
