Job summary

Westworks Procurement is seeking a Category Manager to lead development, procurement and ongoing management of our portfolio, including Frameworks and Dynamic Markets, ensuring solutions are compliant, commercially attractive and aligned to users' needs.

You’ll drive our procurement transformation programme, transition DPS arrangements to Procurement Act 2023 compliant Dynamic Markets, and contribute to governance and capability building across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with PCR 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
• Experience delivering large, above-threshold public sector procurements (ideally built environment).
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Confident managing relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Well organised, resilient and collaborative with solid IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, procurement and ongoing management of a portfolio of Westworks solutions.
• Drive transition to Procurement Act 2023 compliant Dynamic Markets.
• Shape procurement strategies using market and performance intelligence.
• Provide expert procurement advice across the organisation and support governance.
