Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Procurement Manager in the United Kingdom to support delivery of procurement and supply chain activities across the business. You will develop and implement procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships and ensure access to a high-quality, competitive supply chain from tender stage through to delivery and close-out.

You will work closely with operational, commercial and senior management teams, lead supplier relationship meetings, review market conditions

Qualifications

• Strong all-round procurement experience within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience developing procurement strategies at tender and delivery stages.
• Excellent commercial awareness including pricing, negotiation and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies for tenders and live contracts.
• Work with senior management to understand business objectives and procurement requirements.
• Review workload and identify supply chain risks and opportunities.
• Lead supplier relationship meetings, performance reviews and category management activities.
• Analyse procurement data, market conditions and expenditure to inform strategies.
• Ensure procurement resources are deployed across the business and compliant with governance.
