Job summary

Wates is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the Central Region, based in Birmingham. You will develop and execute bespoke procurement strategies for complex projects, managing supplier and subcontractor relationships to secure optimum value and meet programme and quality targets.

You will work with operations, commercial and project delivery teams, travel across the Central Region and sites as required, and support bid teams with market intelligence and cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement in construction/MEP sectors.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate with suppliers.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across levels and deliver value.
