Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a Strategic Procurement Officer to help commission and procure a diverse range of goods, works and services across the organisation. You will work with commissioners, service teams and stakeholders to deliver compliant, commercially focused procurement solutions that meet operational needs and strategic objectives.

• Experience in procurement or commissioning.
• Strong understanding of procurement legislation and best practice.
• Experience managing procurement projects and tender documentation.
• Ability to plan, organise and manage competing priorities.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent; professional qualification such as CIPS Level 4.
• Experience with eSourcing and contract management systems.
