Job summary

BAE Systems in Samlesbury (Lancashire) is seeking a procurement professional to join the General Systems Value team. You will lead negotiations on terms, conditions and price agreements with suppliers, driving value for money and ensuring governance requirements are met.

The role focuses on supplier management, cost analysis, and stakeholder engagement across PM, Engineering, Commercial and Finance, with regular supplier site travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience negotiating Terms & Conditions and price agreements.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across internal/external teams.
• Experience using ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to analyse data and present recommendations.
• CIPS qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contractual terms with suppliers and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and drive value for money.
• Analyse costings and T&Cs to meet customer requirements.
• Manage order book reviews and report status to stakeholders.
• Travel to supplier sites as required.
