Job summary

North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions is seeking an experienced procurement professional to join the Procurement & Supplies Department. You will support the Senior Procurement Officer and Contract Manager to maximise value for money and drive efficiency across NHS contracts.

The role involves engaging with NHS Supply Chain and other frameworks, developing KPIs and ensuring compliant, cost-effective procurement within a busy healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Advanced Diploma level 4 or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Advanced Diploma level 6 (MCIPS) or equivalent experience.
• PRINCE2 or other project management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Procurement & Contract Manager and Senior Procurement Officer to maximise supply chain opportunities and ensure value for money.
• Maximise use of existing contracting opportunities such as NHS Supply Chain, Commercial Procurement Collaborative and Crown Commercial Service.

Education

CIPS Advanced Diploma level 4 or equivalent experience

CIPS Advanced Diploma level 6 (MCIPS) or equivalent
