Zusammenfassung

Essity is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement across multiple UK locations. You will lead sourcing, supplier selection, RFQs and negotiations, while mitigating risk and driving cost savings. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver effective purchasing and continuously improve procurement processes.

The role supports our UK Procurement Operations and can be based from Trafford Park, Skelmersdale, Stubbins or Oakenholt sites. Application end date is 23 Nov 2026.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive industrial procurement experience across manufacturing, chemicals, or engineering environments.
• Strong capability in competitive sourcing, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Proven ability to manage commercial risk and support engineering or Capex related procurement.
• Experience with procurement systems and governance improvements.

Aufgaben

• Lead local purchasing activities including sourcing, supplier selection, RFQs and negotiations.
• Manage procurement risk and establish contingency plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver effective purchasing solutions.
• Drive cost savings and continuous improvement; consolidate spend where possible.
• Implement procurement strategies and ensure policy compliance.
• Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Maintain supplier data, contracts, catalogs and source lists.
• Utilise S4 and Ariba to execute sourcing and streamline buying processes.
• Share best practices across Procurement and improve systems and ways of working.
