Job summary

AECOM in London seeks an experienced Senior Procurement Advisor to join our Strategic Procurement team within Advisory Services. You will lead procurement strategy development, advise client projects, and align delivery models with contract strategies to maximize value across infrastructure programs.

You will collaborate with colleagues, contribute to expanding our service offering, and develop enduring relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of post-qualification experience leading procurement of complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to contract management and supplier engagement.
• Proven project/programme management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Awareness of standard form contracts including NEC.
• Strong people skills and the ability to influence and act as a trusted advisor.
• Experience in category management and contract management, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Awareness of procuring under the Public Contract Regulations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality procurement advice including understanding client drivers and project success factors; lead delivery model design, contract strategy, and route to market.
• Manage the competitive procurement process including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender development, management, evaluation and negotiation.
• Provide advice on commercial aspects, category management and performance management.
• Support business development activities including contributing to proposal documentation.
• Assist in developing AECOM’s strategic procurement service offering.
