Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant in Birmingham to lead strategic procurement for flagship infrastructure projects. You will shape procurement strategy, select supply chain partners, and drive value across the UK&I markets.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience leading procurement for complex construction and infrastructure projects.
Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management and supplier engagement.
Proven project/programme management experience managing multiple projects.
Familiarity with standard contracts, including NEC.
Strong communication and influencing skills as a trusted advisor.
Knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations or equivalent.
UK right to work or Skilled Worker visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic procurement strategies for flagship infrastructure projects.
Ensure appointment of optimal supply chain partners and manage competitive procurement processes.
Lead procurement advice and act as SME for strategic procurement.
Manage market engagement, tender development, evaluation and negotiation.
Advise on commercial aspects, category management, and performance management.
Contribute to expanding AECOM's service offering.
