AtkinsRéalis is currently looking for a Strategic Procurement Advisor to support the Professional Services Category Management function within their central Global Corporate Procurement Team. You will join a high-performing team with an excellent reputation across indirect procurement markets. This role offers a key development opportunity, with support for CIPS qualifications. The Advisor will manage a small/medium portfolio of Professional Services contracts, supporting Senior Advisors and Category Managers.

To succeed, you need to stay organized, prioritize projects, pay attention to detail, and take ownership of tasks with autonomy. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

How will you contribute to the team:

1. Solicit competitive quotations, prices, or tenders from potential suppliers.
2. Receive and evaluate bids.
3. Prepare purchase recommendations.
4. Review contractual terms and consult with category managers/legal as needed.
5. Initiate, issue, and administer purchase orders and contracts.
6. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
7. Implement and ensure adherence to AtkinsRéalis policies within the supplier base, taking corrective actions when necessary.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to meet needs, explore opportunities, and foster innovation.
9. Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders for future opportunities.
10. Travel may be required within the UK and overseas on limited occasions.

What will you contribute:

1. Some knowledge of standard procurement procedures and practices.
2. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask.
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
4. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
5. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), VMS systems (SAP Ariba), and ServiceNow is advantageous but not essential.
6. Understanding of contractual Terms and Conditions aligned with procurement policies.
